Nida’s Heavy and Light Railroad program pairs the Model 130ST or 110E trainer with DC, AC, analog, digital, motor, and fiber-optic card sets. Students learn core electronics and test-equipment skills for railway maintenance, with optional add-on lessons in sensors, wiring, PLC, and microprocessors.
The Railroad program provides a core level introduction into DC, AC Analog, and Digital electronics with an emphasis placed on test equipment and hands-on experimentation. This program is used by Amtrak and CSX to support the ever-changing railway industry. Additional lessons and circuit cards can be added in areas such as sensors, wiring, PLC, and microprocessors as needed.
