The Nida Aviation Electronics Training System is a hands-on AMT training platform built around the Model 130ST trainer and aviation experiment card sets. It delivers computer-assisted and lab-based instruction in the math, physics, chemistry, electrical, and aircraft systems topics that support the FAA General and Airframe elements of the Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license.

Students progress from core electronics—DC, AC, analog, digital, soldering, and cables/connectors—into aircraft-specific work: wiring and power distribution, electrical systems, electronic/instrument systems, hydraulics/pneumatics theory, and synchro/servo theory. Circuit cards emulate real aircraft circuits so students can measure, troubleshoot, and isolate faults with standard test equipment under computer-controlled or manual operation.

The system is designed for aviation maintenance schools and A&P programs that need a structured electronics pathway. Nida notes that additional material is required to complete full A&P licensing.
