BITLISMEN
Equip students, professors and scientists for NEXT generation industrial revolution with Bitlismen to prepare education and research capabilities for Energy 4.0.
PREMIER PARTNERSHIPS + INTEGRATIONS
Bitlismen partnered with Opal-RT to produce a series of joint products that are natively integrated and feature bidirectional power flow and data communication. Additionally, open source LabView, MATLAB and Simulink codes allow students to create new algorithms, investigate and modify existing ones, and implement research.

CORE VALUES
What can you do with Bitlismen?
Our core values help new technical students get industry-relevant education while providing advanced postgraduate students and researchers with scalable and flexible platforms for both academic teaching and research.
Students can safely implement the entire experiment by themselves with plug-and-play terminations. All banana jack sockes in our trainers use low voltages (24V AC/DC max).
Whether you’re a student, instructor, or researcher, you modify your equipment and the lab experiments that come with it, or create new experiments from scratch to use as lab work or graduation projects with to our open-source graphical software. Add new algorithms, fully redefine the platform functionality, and do whatever your program requires with our modular, open-source, and software defined training systems.
Students can make mistakes during the experiment and learn from them without the risk of getting hurt or damaging the equipment, thanks to our safety systems.
Students can feel the real environmental forces to better understand how the entire system works. Our trainers are equipped with industrial components and realistically emulated conditions (real wind, real water flow, real light irradiation, real hydrogen gas, etc.).
Since our platforms use industrial equipment in a realistically emulated environment with state-of-the-art, real-time power quality analyzers, students and researchers can dive deep into both steady state and transient effects.
Students and researchers go beyond the traditional power quality analyses and control algorithms to investigate Machine Learning & Deep Learning techniques with the open-source software used for our platforms.
Because our platforms can be naively integrated with Opal-RT’s PHIL systems, students and researchers set up mixed power microgrids and study the real physical effects combined with scaled-up, Power Hardware in the Loop simulation.
