The first step to securing funding is building a plan for your program. Let us help you get started.
Switch Vehicles are designed to be built, tested and driven, and then disassembled for the next class to use – every semester, and year after year – and comes with all the tools, safety equipment, and courseware you need to run a 17-week class, an 8-week after-school club project, or a 2-week summer workshop.
The final project in the Switch Lab EV Pathway. Students build, wire, configure, test, and drive a complete electric vehicle while applying skills in electrical systems, batteries, high-voltage safety, diagnostics, documentation, and teamwork. By the time students reach the PM/96v capstone, they are applying skills from across the pathway in one complete vehicle project.
Designed for CTE, STEM, automotive, engineering, and technical education programs, the PM/96v turns EV education into a complete project-based learning experience. It gives students access to real EV components, visible system architecture, configurable controls, and a rebuildable platform that can support multiple cohorts year after year.
The vehicle is designed to be assembled, disassembled, rebuilt, and used across multiple cohorts. That makes it a long-term instructional asset for programs that want repeatable student outcomes year after year.
At Switch Vehicles, safety is prioritized, ensuring that every hands-on learning experience with our electric vehicle is both educational and secure. Here’s a look at the robust safety features we’ve integrated:
