The first step to securing funding is building a plan for your program. Let us help you get started.
The DC/72v is the entry-level full-vehicle capstone in the Switch Lab EV Pathway. Designed for middle school, high school, and introductory CTE/STEM programs, it gives students the opportunity to build, test, troubleshoot, and drive a complete electric vehicle while learning the fundamentals of wiring, batteries, DC motor systems, safety, and teamwork.
For administrators, the DC/72v is a practical way to pilot EV education, evaluate student engagement, and build support for future pathway expansion. Schools can start with a complete hands-on capstone, then grow into advanced systems such as the PM/96v, EV Trainer, and Electric Systems Lab as their program develops.
Students develop technical and professional skills by working through a real project from start to finish. They read diagrams, organize components, wire systems, troubleshoot issues, document progress, and collaborate to complete a functioning EV.
At Switch Vehicles, safety is prioritized, ensuring that every hands-on learning experience with our electric vehicle is both educational and secure. Here’s a look at the robust safety features we’ve integrated:
