The first step to securing funding is building a plan for your program. Let us help you get started.
The 3D-Printed Automotive Lead-Acid Battery Training Model is a full-size, hands-on instructional tool designed to help students clearly understand how a 12-volt automotive battery works internally.
Unlike diagrams in a textbook, this model allows learners to physically assemble, disassemble, and explore the internal components of a lead-acid battery — making abstract electrochemical concepts tangible and easy to visualize. Included with this training model are three interactive HTML animations that visually demonstrate what happens inside a lead-acid battery (see below).
Built for automotive programs, technical colleges, and industry training environments, this model reinforces key concepts such as:
Each cell is intentionally designed to visually emphasize the internal structure and chemical processes that occur during operation.
The model is engineered for repeated classroom handling and demonstration.
Included with this training model are three interactive HTML animations that visually demonstrate what happens inside a lead-acid battery:
▶ Try all three animations live in your browser
How to use offline: Download the zip file from the Downloads section below, unzip it, and double-click any of the three HTML files. They open directly in any web browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) with no internet connection or additional software required. Each animation is fully self-contained and runs entirely on your local machine – perfect for classrooms without reliable internet or for embedding in your own LMS.
This training model is ideal for instructors who want students to truly understand battery construction before moving into testing and diagnostics.
