Nida’s FCC GROL Element 3 package pairs the Model 130ST trainer with courseware covering DC/AC through analog, digital, signal processing, radar, RF, microwave, fiber optics, aircraft electrical/electronic systems, data bus, and wiring. Additional material may be required for full licensing.
Nida offers a complete turn-key package for your aviation maintenance training program. Learning content interfaces with the trainer and card sets to provide theory and practical skills training. Students use real test equipment to analyze and troubleshoot aircraft circuits and systems.
The Nida Aviation Electronics Training System supports the electrical, electronics, radar, and aircraft communications/navigation systems elements of the FCC General Radiotelephone Operator License (GROL), Element 3. Training runs on the Model 130ST trainer with computer-assisted courseware and aviation experiment card sets. Additional material may need to be completed for licensing.

GROL Element 3 is the technical exam for radio, electronics, and related aircraft comm/nav knowledge—not an airframe or powerplant mechanic licence. Compared with the EASA B2 package, microwave, RF communications, signal processing, and PLL are in the core list here rather than marked optional or partial, and math/physics/chemistry is not listed.
