Entry-Level Electronics Training System

Jumpstart your electronics career with our Entry-Level Electronics program! In this hands-on course, you’ll learn essential terminology, component recognition, symbology, and how to interpret schematics. By the end, you’ll be able to follow instructions, take accurate measurements, perform basic alignments, and read schematics confidently. You’ll also explore DC, AC, analog, and digital circuits while gaining practical experience using multimeters and oscilloscopes.

Nida Corporation has the most comprehensive electronics programs available! They are developed in a modular format so that both curriculum and hardware easily adapt to any training requirements. The Nida Electronics programs are used in secondary, post-secondary, and military training environments world-wide.

This entry-level program focuses on hands-on skills and the tools of the trade. It emphasizes performance over theory—so instead of calculating a circuit’s theoretical values, you’ll measure real ones in action.

The Nida Model 1300 Entry-Level Electronics experiment card set, designed for use with the Nida Model 130ST Training Console, supports a streamlined learning approach. It teaches the function and operation of DC, AC, analog, and digital electronics. This approach produces students who are motivated and ready to pursue apprentice-level technical training. Through the whole-part-whole teaching method, you’ll analyze systems, use test equipment, apply schematics, and build foundational knowledge to understand how systems work.

The experiment cards in this course give you the opportunity to apply what you’ve learned. You’ll observe the function of basic electronic components using a multimeter or oscilloscope and see how these parts fit into larger circuits or systems. As you progress, you’ll grasp the importance of alignment procedures, operational checks, and how to trace signals through a system—from input to output—using schematics.

Our goal is to make electronics both interesting and fun! Completing the ELE program opens the door to more advanced studies—and in many cases, prepares you for direct entry into the job market.
