The ConsuLab CL-1918-4 trainer has been developed to teach modern automotive lighting systems through student led learning exercises where students develop their understanding of the system through the physical wiring all circuits. The product is used for teaching Ohm’s law, basic circuits, advanced circuits, relay controlled, power side and ground side-controlled circuits, and there is an included fault box on each side with 12 real world faults that include open circuits, short circuits, high resistance circuits that will require voltage drop testing to verify, ground faulted circuits and more.
The Automotive Lighting Training System (CL-1918-4S_053304) is a hands-on trainer developed to teach modern automotive lighting systems through student-led learning exercises that reinforce circuit understanding. Learning exercises are structured at three different student competence levels—basic, some experience, and advanced—each utilizing different wiring schematics. This trainer also facilitates instruction in Ohm’s Law, basic and advanced circuits, relay-controlled circuits, power-side and ground-side switched circuits. It includes a fault box capable of inserting up to twelve real-world circuit faults, such as open circuits, short circuits, high resistance circuits, and component failures, requiring voltage drop and digital multimeter testing for verification. Configured with 4mm wiring sockets for circuit wiring via jumper wires and 2mm sockets for testing equipment at key circuit points, the system allows students to build complete lighting systems or individual circuits in a safe, engaging environment.
