This module is an introduction to residential electrical wiring. Students learn about the many factors and considerations of wiring new circuits in the home. Instructional materials consist of a student manual and accompanying videos.

The residential wiring course enables students to develop technical knowledge and skills that they can use in their homes or to pursue careers as electricians. The course provides one level of instruction that combines computer work and manual-based with extensive hands-on experiences.
