This platform provides an immersive learning experience in hydroelectric power technology. Operating in both off-grid and on-grid modes, it features a 3-phase synchronous generator driven by a real Pelton turbine. Students can manipulate water flow and head pressure using manually controlled valves, exploring generator performance under various conditions. In off-grid mode, students can analyze supplying local loads, voltage and frequency regulation, while in on-grid mode, synchronization with the main power grid can be achieved.
