Electro-Hydraulic Control Module

MF100-EHCM-TSE
Today’s technicians must be competent to adjust, program and troubleshoot a wide range of electro-hydraulic components. This training module covers them all:
  1. Proportional direction and flow control valves.
  2. PWM amplifiers.
  3. Linear position feedback sensors.
  4. Encoders.
  5. Proportional pressure control valves.
  6. Pressure transducers – wired and wireless.
  7. Diagnostics through a CANBUS J1939 reader.
  8. Joy sticks – Hall effect, resistive and CANBUS (optional).
  9. Onboard touchscreen (upgradeable) with impressive animations so students can see component operation in real-time, e.g., see how ramping times change with real-time graphs. See the inside of a proportional valve, through the use of animation, as it operates.

DESCRIPTION

Students will learn:

  • Integration of electronics with hydraulics.
  • How to troubleshoot electro-hydraulic components with real-time faults – electronics and components.
  • How to observe, in real-time, with an oscilloscope (not supplied), the voltages and current of coils.
  • To understand inputs and outputs.
  • How to change parameters where applicable.
  • To understand dither frequency.
  • How to identify calibration problems.
  • How to understand encoder signals.
  • Open and closed-loop circuits.
  • To understand the settings of a PWM amplifier.
  • Joystick control – ramping and dead-band.
  • How to compare tested values with working systems.
