The learning platform is used worldwide for research and technical training in the areas of production and automation technology as well as for mechatronics.

CP Factory Sample Configurations

CP Factory with mechatronics focus
Four students – two on each side – can work at one basic module without any problem. The basic modules thus allow all relevant mechatronics fundamentals to be taught to up to 24 students at the same time in the field of PLC programming, drive technology, sensor technology and safety engineering. The topics of handling technology, robotics, image processing, RFID and quality assurance are reinforced with the production modules and the automatic warehouse.

Mechatronics technicians are successfully trained using this concept at BBS Brinkstraße in Osnabrück.

CP Factory with Production and Assembly Focus
A complete production process can be easily reproduced using the CP Factory modules. Many different assembly lines can be quickly created just by rearranging – no reprogramming necessary! The learning system demonstrates typical topics and methods for planning and optimising production, as well as value stream analyses and value stream mapping, in practical applications.

Prospective engineers at the Hochschule Fulda already benefit from this concept on their CP Factory production and assembly line.

CP Factory with Robotics Focus
A complete, cellular robotics laboratory with a wide range of robot types can be created with the CP Factory. Each module is operated in stand-alone operation or in combination with several modules.

With the CP Factory robotics, DHBW Mannheim allows its students to simulate, program and commission various robot systems.
